Organization: The Organisation Harley’s Fine Baking (https://www.harleys.com/), is a European style patisserie (premium cake selling company) created by an IIM professor to disrupt the cake and coffee market, established to spread bonafide taste of the streets of Manhattan across the world. Brought into the world from a love for baking, the desire to create a meeting place that serves delicious food with a warm rustic environment. The Organization offers a full scope of Breads, morning merchandise, cakes, baked and savoury goods. Currently the team size is of about 200 people with more than 15 outlets across Hyderabad, along with a plan of opening 100 new outlets across Mumbai, Goa, Vijayawada, Bangalore, Chennai scaling up to 1000 people over the next year.
Designation: Python Developer Intern
Work Location: Nanakramguda (Hyderabad, Telangana)
Qualification: Bachelor’s / master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related fields (pursuing or recently completed).
Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory)
- Python Programming Certification (e.g., from Coursera, Udemy, NPTEL, or equivalent).
- Certifications in Data Analysis / Automation Tools will be an added advantage.
Experience: 0–1 year (Academic projects, internships, or hands-on coding experience in Python.)
Job Brief: The Python Developer Intern will work closely with multiple departments to design and develop scripts/programs for reports automation and data-driven insights. This internship offers hands-on exposure to programming, process automation, and cross-functional collaboration in a real-world business environment, while strengthening technical and teamwork capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing Python applications and automation scripts.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code.
- Collaborate with teams on report specifications and automation requirements.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and learning best practices.
- Document code, workflows, and project progress.
- Research and contribute to the development of new features and process improvements.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Python programming (basic to intermediate).
- Understanding of data handling, file processing, and automation concepts.
- Familiarity with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and openpyxl (for Excel/CSV reports).
- Strong problem-solving and logical reasoning skills.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members.
Desired Skills:
- Exposure to SQL / Databases.
- Basic knowledge of APIs and data integration.
- Experience with reporting tools or visualization libraries (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git/GitHub).
