Responsibilities:

• Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for applications and APIs.
• Testing: Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing using automated tools.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Documentation: Write clear and concise documentation for test plans, test cases, and automation processes.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and suggest enhancements to the testing process and tools.
• Code Review: Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and improve the quality of the codebase.

Skills:

• Technologies: Demonstrable experience in automation technologies including Java, Selenium, Cucumber, BDD, SQL, API automation, and Rest Assured for API testing.
• Testing Tools: In-depth knowledge of test management software (e.g., ALM, Jira).
• SQL Proficiency: Proficiency in using SQL queries for databases or large datasets.
• Data Formats: Expertise in working with XML, XSLT, SOAP, and JSON formats.
• Methodologies: Experience in Agile methodology and DevOps, with a focus on integrating automated tests in Continuous Integration and Delivery pipelines.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
