Responsibilities/Skills :
- Work with product management and development teams to understand the requirements and design of the application.
- Prepare test cases for the requirements that you get from PMs and Dev.
- Ensure that you are following all the Test artifacts.
- Needed to lead a team.
- Maintain proper protocol for usage of Bug Tracking System by testing team.
- Mentor, guide and provide on the job training to junior test engineers.
- Understand the automation coverage and ensure that 100% automation coverage is present. Need not work on coding but need to workwith an automation team and give them requirements.
- Should be able to work as individual resources and should not depend on others.
- Having Experience in SDLC & STLC.
- Should have good exposure on Production systems and should be able to give good ideas and suggestions on how to improve the non-prod environment.
- Should be very good at checking logs and understanding the issues.
- Should be a faster learner and wear multiple hats like performance testing, Load testing.
- Should have a mindset of Automating the work and reducing the redundant work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Should have experience on Linux commands.
- Should have knowledge on SQL queries.
- Should be Bold and blunt in Communication.
- Should have knowledge on performance strategies.
- Good to have experience in Automation.
- Having experience on Production support is good to have.
- Should have knowledge on how to deploy the code in multiple environments.
